What TrendBoss does
TrendBoss helps users capture and organise social media account and post information that is visible in pages they choose to browse. The Chrome extension’s single purpose is to collect those visible content signals and sync selected captures to the user’s private TrendBoss workspace.
Information we process
Depending on what is visible, captures may include account names, handles, profile URLs, profile images, follower counts, post URLs, captions, publication times, media types, thumbnails and engagement counts. We also process account information needed to provide TrendBoss, including your email address, authentication records, subscription status and feature usage.
How capture works
The extension runs only on the supported social domains listed in its permissions. It reads page content and, on Facebook, selected timeline responses already loaded by the page to improve capture accuracy. It does not collect your social-media password, authentication cookies or private messages. Captures are cached locally in Chrome and are transmitted to TrendBoss only when you use the indexing feature.
How we use information
We use captured information to build your account and post index, calculate performance signals, provide search and analytics, generate user-requested content analysis and maintain the service. We do not sell captured data or use it for personalised advertising.
Storage and access
Synced data is associated with your TrendBoss workspace and protected by workspace access controls. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Local extension data is removed when you clear it or uninstall the extension; synced workspace data remains until you delete it or request deletion.
Your choices and rights
You control which accounts you browse, capture and sync. You may request access, correction or deletion of your TrendBoss account and workspace data by contacting us. Applicable rights and response periods depend on your location.
Service providers and transfers
TrendBoss uses infrastructure and service providers to host the application, database, authentication, payments and optional AI operations. These providers process information only to deliver those services. Processing locations may differ from your country.
Security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted transmission and least-privilege design. We retain account and captured data while your workspace is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
TrendBoss’s use and transfer of information received from Chrome extension permissions adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy as TrendBoss changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised date.
